I used to think there was no way to be content, that there’ll always be an area in my life that will need improvement, that’s the way life is, it’s a test.
...who said life had to be that way?
No, really, who said it? *earmuffs for my angels please* I wanna smack some sense into ‘em
I know that it IS possible, that there is no rule that says somehow, someway, we must suffer, at least a little. This can be hard to believe when the majority of people I meet are, at the very least, a little miserable in one or more areas of their lives 😒. That’s even depressing to type 😖
But there’s hope!!!
We can feel contentment, happiness, even joy, in all areas of our lives, bold statement I know! We just may not have all of the areas at the same level of awesomeness simultaneously.
When I’m not in a place of joy, the first step in changing it is having that awareness. When I’m aware, I can switch the joy on like a light 💡 . How you ask?
It’s simple! When I’m focusing on a part of my life that I’m not satisfied with and it’s making me feel down, I bring myself up the emotional ladder by, 🥁 drum roll please...GRATITUDE!!!
It’s so EASY (insert easy button here) and it feels great. As Tony Robbins so beautifully puts it, “what’s wrong is always available and so is what’s right.” It’s our choice where we put our focus.
Please, don’t take my word for it, I can recommended some books on the law of attraction that may change your life 💞
To me, this is a wonderful reminder that since nothing, absolutely nothing, is all good or all bad, by practising appreciation, my state, your state, OUR states, can be shifted into a positive energy as easily as choosing a different thought 🤯.

It is very easy and it takes work, it’s called a gratitude practice for a reason. In order to clear a new path for our brains neurons to fire more easily down the happy path (aka new thought patterns) we need to practice, often. Just like a professional athlete has to repeat, repeat, repeat for muscle memory, that’s how rewiring our thoughts work as well.
If you have the ability to be happy, you have everything! 💞✈️🧘🏽♀️🥰🥳🙌💃🏻🕺🏾🌝🌏🌈🎯🥂
There’s so much more I could say on this subject but the main message is this; YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL! You can have all of the joy, whenever you choose, and joy is what will make the most impact on your life and on the world. When you have that level of beautiful energy, that IS everything!!! With that you officially have the best of what life has to offer.
Joy is a gift from the creator and it’s there for us anytime we recognize that we are in a state of suffering, big or small. Believe me, we will slip in and out of all states, I certainly do, as our world is constantly changing bringing with it different experiences, but we can make it our mission to set our default state as one of happiness and appreciation. My mission is to make love my default emotion and my hope is that you’ll choose a similar emotion as yours as well 💞
